Once a week I'll try to post a favorite out of that huge drawer of negatives...
Somewhere east of Erfoud, Morocco, September 1999
Morocco was my first trip beyond the comfy confines of North America or Europe, and I still remember the trip as one of my better vacations. Not necessarily because one of my unconsummated crushes came along with me, but travelling with someone else generally is more fun than going alone. As usual, my memories are less specific and more vague yearnings -- every time I pass a drum shop, I look for something that will help me recreate the music our guides made that night in the desert.
